Robert's Eyes Bother Him as Edward

Wenn.com is reporting that Robert Pattinson didn't enjoy wearing the colored contact lenses required by his part as Edward Cullen in the movie Twilight.

"Wearing coloured contact lenses... It was like I constantly had sand in my eyes. I was wearing them for three months constantly and my eyes never ever accepted them! It took me 20 minutes per eye every single day and I ended up having to literally fold it into my eyeball."

Jasper's Power
Here is an omission that did a great disservice to moviegoers. Not sure which one Jasper Hale was? He was the vampire brother that looked deranged, or at least constipated, every time his face graced the screen. It would have taken, what, a minute to explain that Jasper has the ability to manipulate the emotions of those around him? One minute to explain the reason behind all those crazy, intense looks he was continually throwing off.

Twilight movie director, Catherine Hardwicke, talks at MTV.com about New Moon movie and her commitment to making it even better than Twilight!

I want to do ['New Moon'] better than we did 'Twilight,' and do it really cool. I definitely don't want to do it as something just tossed off, like a 'Saw II' or something like that. We want to be sure that it's really going to be great and that everyone's on the same page.

She also revealed that she's had some cool new ideas in mind for the New Moon special effects:

I was doing a lot of research on wolves before [filming 'Twilight'], and we had a scene with the wolves in it ... so we're already thinking a little bit about [Jacob's transformation into a wolf]. Then there's the stunts, and there's Italy. It's all cooking in the brain.

Twilight has inspired Buffy?

With the sky-rocketing success of the Twilight movie, rumor has it that a Buffy, the Vampire Slayer movie is now in the works. Aceshowbiz.com reports:

On the reason of bringing up "Buffy" to the big screen, Herald-Sun pointed out on the success of another vampire movie, "Twilight". "The monster success of girly vampire pic Twilight at the U.S. Box office last weekend could kick open the door for a big-screen return of Joss Whedon's much-loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer," wrote the publication.

The original television series of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" follows the story of Buffy Summers, a young woman fated to battle against vampires, demons and other forces of darkness. The series which started its run in 1997 was starred by Sarah Michelle Gellar. The Buffy concept was first unveiled as a movie in 1992 with Kristy Swanson taking the titular role.
